The joyous, rollickin' beat of New Orleans Jazz comes to life through the happy improvisations of George Carere's Dixieland Stompers. Atlanta, our home base of operations, is robust with the Dixieland sound and as often as not, that sound is coming from the Dixieland Stompers, a group that can vary from 3 to 7 pieces, depending on your needs and budget.

This high energy dixieland band can make any party or gathering a success. The group consists of clarinet, trumpet, trombone, banjo and tuba. If a larger group is requested, more instruments like piano or drums can be added. This instrumentation provides a full, rich, traditional dixieland sound and, in most cases, is completely portable and able to stroll throughout a party or event - moving the music around!

The Dixieland Stompers have played for all manner of corporate and private parties, receptions, special events and commercial gatherings. Recently, the Atlanta Braves hired us to serve as their official band, playing at all home games for a four year period (1992 - 1995). Our Dixieland songlist includes:
